Therasia Resort, framed by the stupendous lava landscape of the island of Vulcano, stands out with its bright white colour on the promontory of Vulcanello, in the magic scenario of the Aeolian archipelago.
The charming resort has been entirely rebuilt using traditional materials such as the lava stone from Etna, Sicilian terracotta and cedar wood.
Light tones, harmonious and elegant lines blend wonderfully with the typical style of the “Aeolian house”, creating an environment of warm sensations and familiarity.
The various restaurants and bars of the resort offer delightful dishes from Sicilian and Mediterranean tradition, a gastronomic-wine experience through colours, fragrances and aromas of the best local cuisine. The panoramic terraces have a romantic atmosphere in candlelight and are the ideal setting for sipping delicious cocktails in front of the splendid sunsets.
The resort is about 1km from the beach and the centre of Vulcano (the hotel has a shuttle-bus service), and only 5 minutes by hydrofoil to Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands. Even the other islands of the archipelago, seven jewels of volcanic rock set in the crystal-clear azure of the Tyrrhenian Sea and each with its own particular and unique fascination, are easily reached.

His Opinion: We can not recommend The Therasia Resort Spa highly enough. Our four night stay felt like two weeks so perfect for R&R.
The staff are exceptionally helpful and gracious and couldn’t do enough to assist. Would also recommend holidaying outside of school holidays if possible.
Book it, you won’t regret it.
